Our construction and relocation phase has been successfully completed since January 7, 2019. Like so many successful company stories, Behner Oberflächentechnik’s began 14 years ago in his parents’ garage, in which Stefan Behner first of all refined his passion for automotive and motorcycle parts with devotion and entrepreneurial spirit. Old-timer chrome parts and bathroom faucets were added later in the company’s own commercial premises. Over the years large vehicle parts manufacturers and industrial customers became aware of the highly professional work and approached the company with very different products and requirements. “That was the moment when it became clear to me that apart from manual workpiece machining, I could only handle the high volumes with the help of robot technology and automated processes,” recalls Stefan Behner. And so new employees as well as state-of-the-art robot technology and processes were incorporated into the company, which to this day forms a perfect symbiosis of individual manual work and CNC-controlled machine precision. In 2018, Stefan Behner set the course for a successful future and further growth with a complete new building on an area of 3,000 square meters. In January 2019 the time had come – the construction of the workshop was completed and employees and machines were able to move into the new company building.
